Bhuv is responsible for managing oversight and operational activities at VCF.
Currently, his primary focus is on new business development initiatives for VCF and
forming strategic partnerships with high-quality technology centric firms. His
corporate experience included several formative years working with global financial
services giant Citibank at its Canadian head office in Toronto. Bhuv was an Assistant
Vice-President with Citibank Canada where he ran the Fixed Income Securities
Finance Unit. He managed a business unit overseeing approximately $100 million in
gross interest revenue, $2 billion in assets and $300 million in debt capital. Bhuv
was instrumental in developing real time software solutions to efficiently manage the
risk and robustness of the unit. Prior to his movement to the treasury area, he was
the Sr. Financial Analyst and Manager overseeing management reporting for the
Capital Markets Group at Citibank Canada. Bhuv developed financial reporting
structures and models using software solutions to analyze $100 million in operating
revenue and $5 billion of assets. He is a graduate of York University in Toronto,
Canada where he received his Bachelors in Economics. His concentration included
economics, finance and accounting.
Beyond his leadership role at VCF, Bhuv is also a member of the financial &
business services council of advisors for New York based Gerson Lehrman Group
(GLG).
